The Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in B flat minor, op. 23, was written by composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky between November 1874 and February 1875 and revised twice in 1879 and 1888. Tchaikovsky dedicated his first piano concerto to Hans von Bülow, and is considered one of the most beautiful works ever written. Since its very original opening theme, which is simply abandoned before half of the first movement, Andante by its magnificent Simplice, a unique lyricism, the final Allegro con Fuoco, what else transpires in music is the beauty of his melodies.
