The Labèque sisters are, without doubt, the most famous piano duo of all time and have one of the most acclaimed discographies on the international market. Many of their interpretations are essential reference works in the repertoire for two pianos, in particular the compositions by Ravel and Debussy which they present in their Casa da Música début performance. From the exotic atmosphere evoked by the Perrault fairy tales in Ma mère l'oye to the contrasting and mysterious ambiance of a moonlit night, and the wild "fiesta" of Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole, this is a programme that should not be missed.
