The return of historic cars to Boavista.
TRUE AND DOUBLE PASSION.
With a safer circuit, this year’s programme includes two even more spectacular categories: GP Masters – F1 until 1978 – and GP Masters – Le Mans cars until 1974.
Races
Sport pre-War – Motor Racing Legends. Pre-1961 Formula 1 – HGPCA. Pre-1966 Formula 1 – HGPCA. Sports in the 50’s and 60’s– HGPCA. World Sports Masters – GT and Prototypes until 1974, ex-Le Mans. FIA Lurani Formula Junior from 1958 to 1961. Grand Prix Masters – pre-1978 Formula 1. Gentleman Drivers GT Endurance: GT until 1964. Sports Racing Masters: Prototypes until 1964. Touring, GT and Sports Classics: Classics until 1981.
A total of 15 races, 5 parades and 1 race/exhibition.
Car parades in Oporto: 20 historic GP cars. 10 cars from the 30’s and the 50’s on the original track of the Boavista Circuit, Thursday, July 12th.
FERRARI Gala: 60 years of Ferrari – parade of several Ferraris racing and serial models, by Portuguese and foreign owners, from the mythic 500 and D50 to the Enzo.
Celebrities participation: 45th Anniversary celebration of the Former Formula One GP Pilots Club, counting on the participation on the track (parade and race/exhibition) of Phil Hill (1961 World Champion), Tony Brooks (1959 Vice-Champion), Maria Teresa de Filippis, Da Silva Ramos, Mário Cabral, Derek Bell, Nanni Galli, Tim Parnell, Vern Schuppan, Tim Schenken, Peter Westbury, Reine Wisell, Paul Frère, David Piper, Mike Sparken, amongst others.
