Human Machine Interface (System Monitor)

This application fullfills two objectives:

The HMI provides information about: current system status (started, stopped, stopping), system queues information, buffer status (number of parts, full, unavailable), part detection sensor status, cilinder operation, SA operation, AGV operation and Unload Cells operation. The user can interact with the system issuing the following commands: Start Operation, Stop Operation, Emergency Stop, Activate SA1, SA2, C1, C2 or C3, Enable/Disable automatic part feeding to the system, Change maximum values for the buffers. The availability of some of these operations is dependent on the current system status.

The SCADA and HMI applications exchange information using Windows Messages, this messages include: changes in the system queues, buffer status, indicator status, etc.

For the Intranet Server, the HMI pre-processes the information available on the SCADA and generates the text strings with the status of the system, and serves as interface to the Intranet Server commands (like changing maximum buffer values).
