The purpose of the 6th Junior Researcher Workshop on Real-Time Computing (JRWRTC 2012) is to bring together junior researchers working on real-time systems (PhD students, postdoc). It will provide a relaxed forum to present and discuss new ideas, new research directions, and to review current trends in this area.

The workshop will involve short presentations and a poster session to encourage discussions by the conference attendees. The papers that will be presented at the workshop are listed below:

A conjecture about task assignment on two-type heterogeneous multiprocessors
Gurulingesh Raravi

Margin-Aware Partitioning for Real-Time Multiprocessor Systems
Kods Trabelsi and Frédéric Fauberteau

Scheduling analysis to enhance the trajectory approach
Georges Arnaud Kemayo, Frédéric Ridouard, Henri Bauer and Pascal Richard

Estimation of Probabilistic Minimum Inter-arrival Times Using Extreme Value Theory
Cristian Maxim, Adriana Gogonel, Dorin Maxim and Liliana Cucu-Grosjean

Automatic Cache Modeling by Measurements
Andreas Abel and Jan Reineke

TTEthernet-based architecture simulation with Ptolemy II
Guillaume Brau and Claire Pagetti

Distributed Pneumatic MEMS for Fast Conveyance of Fragile Objects
Amirali Habibi, Eugen Dedu, Julien Bourgeois, Guillaume Laurent and Nadine Piat

The best paper will be rewarded by the "Best Paper Award" and its first author will be offered an IPad 3!

A separate booklet containing the proceedings will be available at the conference and on the web page of the conference. A pdf version of the initial call for paper is available here and a .txt version here.
