Advance Program is now available

The preliminary version of the ECRTS11 program is now available online. There will be 8 main sessions and 2 keynotes. The technical program of the main conference is opened by the keynote of Prof. Hermann Kopetz on his seminal work on the time triggered architecture. The keynote on the second day will be presented by Prof. David Atienza on thermal-aware design of multiprocessor system-on-a-chip architectures. Preceding the main conference, the 5th of July is devoted to 5 satellite workshops fostering exchange and collaborative work in several specialized topics. The program of the main conference starts on Wednesday 6th of July, and ends on Friday 8th of July.

An extensive social program will accompany the technical sessions. This contains, an after-workshop-club on the riverside, to relax after a hard day working on 5th of July, a reception in a historic building in Porto on the first day of the main conference, a boat-tour and banquet at a mystery location on Thursday and a chill-out session in the port-wine cellars and subsequent dinner on the seaside after the last technical session. Stay tuned for updates on the website.

Hotel & Venue Information

ECRTS11 and its satellite workshops will take place on the ISEP campus. ISEP is located in the university area in the north of the city, and it is served by the Metro line D (Yellow Line) with a direct connection (15 minutes) to the city center (downtown).

We have selected a comprehensive list of hotels, including 2 hotels in walking distance (IBIS São João and Eurostar Porto), as well as 2 hotels in the city center with easy access to the ISEP campus via the Metro (Hotel Porto Trindade and Hotel Teatro). Further choices are available on the website, which will be extended with booking instructions in the coming days.

While the extensive social program will complement and enrich the technical aspects of ECRTS11, the local arrangements will make for a cost-effective and memorable scientific experience.

Discover Porto

Porto has much more to offer than the most celebrated Port Wine and the World Heritage listed historical center. The Café Majestic, for example, has been recognized as one of the ten most beautiful cafes in the world by. Take the chance to cross the threshold of this magical place and step back in time enjoying a cup of coffee between the mirrored walls and marble tabletops while listening to some serene tunes played by a pianist at the grand piano.

In contrast to this browse the fashionable boutiques and galleries in the area around the Rua Miguel Bombarda. From the latest designer crazes to the most common everyday items all is there. Even New-Yorkers seem to enjoy shopping here, as this article in the New York Magazine suggests.

We have compiled a list of reasons why you can't miss this opportunity to come to ECRTS11 and visit our wonderful city.
